Planned job cuts at Nestle Waters Germany

Neuselters mineral springs is under threat of drastic job cuts: if company plans are carried out, 40 out of the 74 employees currently working there will lose their jobs in the 1st half of 2013.
Following the announcement on 29 November, the NGG organized a spontaneous demonstration outside the factory gates, which promises to be the first of many.
Nestlé plans to "focus" on the "Nestlé Aquarel" brand and non-returnable packaging. Besides the 40 jobs, the local mineral water brands will also disappear.
The Neuselters workforce has pledged resistance.
