New Danone baby nutrition union formed in India

A union was organized for the first time at the Nutricia baby nutrition plant in Lalru, Punjab, a year after the plant was acquired by Danone through its purchase of Wockhardt Ltd.
The Nutricia Employees Union was formally registered on 25 March and represents 52 members at the Lalru plant, representing 87% of the workforce.
On April 14 IUF representatives met with the union to celebrate their achievement.
