Work stoppage at Mondelez in Bremen

Printer-friendly version

Under the motto, "Our wages are not the crowning glory", 140 workers staged a work stoppage on May 8 at the Mondelez coffee factory in Bremen, where the iconic "Krönung" (coronation) brand is produced.

Mondelez and the German Food Workers Union, NGG, are in negotiations for a new collective bargaining agreement at the former Kraft Jacobs factory in Hemelingen (Bremen).

With this protest strike, which shut down production for 2 hours, the workers showed what they really think of Mondelez' wage offer: miserable!

"Good work - good pay:
We won't undersell ourselves"
